Salesforce: Allow Outbound Change Set from Production To Sandbox

When you create an Outbound change set in your Production account and upload the change set then it will show the error as shown in the following screenshot:

In order to resolve this issue, you need to change the deployment settings for your org.
First check the settings in your production org as follows:

-> Login to Production account and Goto Setup
-> Type “Deployment settings” and click.

You will see the list of sandboxes as shown below:

Select your Sanbox to which you want to allow the change set. Select Sandbox and you will see following settings:

Now as you can see, you don’t have the permission to “Accept Outbound Changes”. To change this setting, first you need to change the deployment setting in your Sandbox.

-> Login to yourSandbox at test.Salesforce.com and click Setup
-> Type “Deployment settings” and click.

It will show the following Screen:

Select the account from which you want to allow the change set to this account (Sandbox). Select Production and it will show the settings as shown below:

Now click Edit and you need to check the checkbox for “Allow Inbound Changes” settings and click Save as shown below:

Now, Goto your production account and you will see your settings are updated automatically as shown below:

Now, you can upload the change set to your Sandbox. Refresh the Outbound change Set page and you will see that your error get resolved and your sandbox will show as shown below:
